The Great Depression

From 1929-1941 the Great Depression hit's the United States. Low class to high class, all lost their money. Stock exchanged stopped, banks failed to give back money. Everyone owned money during this time. People struggled through this and starved their way towards the World War II.

- Sold all of their furniture and jewelry
- Begged for money
- Tried long shifts at the docks
- Sold their expensive house
- Asked for relief money
- Walked to work instead of driving
